It is one of the most main popular and old dishes in Buraydah city and community. It became famous because of the availability of its ingerdients, which consist of agricultural products characterizing the city of Buraydah.
Matazeez is prepared from wheat flour dough, cut and spread in small form and thick discs, which are cooked with lamb or camel meat and vegetables, with the addition of local spices and hot pepper as desired. It is now served in many hotels and restaurants along with the rest of the other popular dishes.
